How do I apply?
Please email us with 3-5 clear home snaps. These must be in good natural lighting, clean faces, hair down and no accessories like hats or bows – and definitely no filters. Go for a plain and natural style, similar to a passport application. We aim to get back to applications within 7 days and will respond either way.
Are there any fees?
No. We do not charge any fees to be signed with us. We are fully 100% and upfront and as a new agency know work will not be constant and come flooding in so we have kept this in mind when deciding on our setup.
We will, however, organise headshot days; these are not compulsory at any point, but it is definitely worth noting that having a good mix of home and professional pictures on your model card would be great.
Each successful application will be a year’s contract and will be reviewed again after a year as to whether we re-sign or not.
When will my child get work?
There is no absolute answer to this. It could be this week, it could be next year and for the most part it could be never. We never promise any child work. This industry is tough and with thousands of children all going for the same briefs it is tough, but we promise to work as hard as we can to secure those confirmations.
We will be doing all we can behind the scenes and will always contact you if we need anything for a brief.
How much will they earn?
This again is difficult to answer and normally depends on the client, some have a set fee and others have an hourly rate. As an agency we take a 20% commission fee from every job booked. All monies must be paid into the child’s account, so if you are successful then please get your child one set up.
Travel costs are also not included in shoots, this also applies to castings. These are normally last minute, are in central London, and only last 5 minutes. You must be willing to do the travelling if needed at your own expense.
Does my child need a portfolio?
Definitely not. We ask for home snaps for applications and are happy for these to be used on model cards if they fit all guidelines.
It’s always worth looking for local photographers who offer headshots at a reasonable price or have an offer on. These should not cost hundreds and again be plain and simple showing a good true likeness of your child. No heavy edits or filters.
